Requirements
  • Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Design/related field or 7 years equivalent working experience required
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a senior designer or similar creative-lead role, managing complex projects from creative brief to production (preferably in-house)
  • 5+ years of experience in client management within a creative/marketing environment (preferably in-house) with experience in: Setting and managing client expectations, Communicating and building strong connections with executive leadership and clients, Championing both clients and creative staff
  • Significant knowledge of design and production principles and industry trends
  • Experience developing concepts according to brand style guidelines
  • Proven experience leading creative teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to direct and mentor others to ensure professional growth and development
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, visual storytelling, and design systems
  • Expertise in print production and vendor management
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills at all levels within the organization
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences through design
  • Strong organizational and people skills (able to manage both clients and creative resources)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high utilization rate of entire team (75%+) billable
  • Develop and manage the over-arching operating model for the BDS, including: Organizational structure, Hiring strategy (in collaboration with HR), Processes and Standard Operating Procedures, Financial model (cost allocation budget), Internal and external relationship building, Supporting technology
  • Set up and manage the overall relationship model for working with clients, including project planning, initiation and approval processes
  • Facilitate quarterly meetings with clients (e.g. marketing, HR, properties) to discuss planned initiatives, present options for value-added services, and review overall relationship and quality improvement opportunities, based on a variety of operational reports and metrics
  • Analyze data to identify specific opportunities for operational improvement and foster an environment of continuous improvement
  • Report to executive leadership team on value, efficiency and effectiveness of the BDS
  • Represent BDS’s value proposition and operational strategy at high-level corporate, marketing, property-level and leadership meetings
  • Develop yearly and quarterly goals for BDS
  • Conduct quarterly budget and operational reviews with Operations
  • Develop and approve the over-arching operational areas of agency/vendor relationships including: Vetting, on-boarding and set-up processes, Agency metrics and reporting requirements
  • Implement and ensure team-wide adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures and a seamless project-management experience between clients and the BDS
  • Ideate and oversee design for brand campaigns, promotions, and messaging across digital, print, and experiential platforms
  • Partner with individual properties to enhance local branding and guest experience through tailored creative solutions
  • Work with marketing and external agencies to ensure development of creative and editorial brand standards
  • Supervise and art direct BDS to develop visual solutions that convey desired marketing message(s) and adhere to Loews’ creative and editorial brand standards
  • Advise on and monitor appropriate visual concepts developed by external agencies to ensure that they are consistent with creative and editorial brand standards and all concepts/templates developed by agency can be implemented seamlessly by BDS
  • Liaise with external agencies, as needed, to share brand learning’s and resolve creative issues
  • Perform brand and quality control checks on all deliverables, utilizing creative and editorial brand standards
  • Lead brainstorming sessions when required
  • Offer visual and production-driven solutions that increase ROI on creative and production (i.e. increase market differentiation, increase speed to market)
  • Work with agencies and creative team to ensure creative strategies achieve business objectives as defined by the clients and/or the creative brief (on Tier 1 & 2 projects)
  • Capture and track metrics needed to measure the effectiveness of creative solutions
  • Plan and assign BDS staff to new projects with input from Coordinator (project/resource scheduling)
  • Manage print production processes and work closely with purchasing and procurement teams to source high-quality materials
  • Develop and utilize workflow processes to ensure quality delivery of work product
  • Communicate obstacles and improvement opportunities within workflow processes to Coordinator
  • Ensure BDS team is building responsible files (smallest size, proper naming conventions, error free) and conducting pre-flight quality checks
  • Work with clients and BDS to train/educate on project-level processes for: Quarterly review of future marketing plans and budgets (to enable resource forecasting), Project initiation and assignment, Project review and approval
  • Communicate, manage and utilize time tracking system and tiered workflow processes to: Maintain up-to-date records of all projects and their schedule and budgetary status, Ensure quality delivery of projects, Ensure project deadlines and budgets are adhered to 98% of the time, Maintain, monitor and report on metrics, including financial and utilization
  • Review all Tier 1-3 project requests and direct clients/projects to the best creative/production resource, based on tier and type of work
  • Communicate relationship obstacles and improvement opportunities and recommend solutions within workflow processes to Coordinator
  • Develop awareness-generating materials, communications and case-studies for representative projects to demonstrate BDS value and effectiveness to existing clients, new clients and corporate leaders
  • Attend yearly marketing conferences and quarterly marketing/planning meetings with properties to generate awareness of BDS’s capabilities
  • Consult with clients (marketing, HR, properties, etc.) on priority of visual messaging in marketing and communications
  • Troubleshoot creative challenges between clients and BDS
  • Expand and build new relationships within properties, corporate, and other subsidiaries
  • Collaborate and consult with clients to help them define and clarify their business objectives for each initiative
  • Work with clients to develop effective, concise creative briefs with measurable objectives
  • Advise clients on best options (tier, tactics, resources) for creative development and production
  • Schedule and facilitate quarterly business reviews with clients and key corporate leaders
  • Troubleshoot relationships and communication challenges between clients and BDS
  • Establish and manage satisfaction levels of executive leadership and clients (through client surveys on a quarterly or semi-annual basis)
  • Improve personal performance/knowledge base to exceed standards
  • Participate in formal performance reviews, ensure professional development and adhere to yearly and quarterly personal goals
  • Contribute to efforts to improve work processes
  • Provide solutions that meet changing corporate strategies/initiatives and business cycles
  • Monitor and incorporate feedback from clients and BDS team members for continuous relationship improvement
  • Actively participate and support department-wide change initiatives
  • Establish yearly and quarterly change management goals and metrics

  • Ensure executive-level and financial support for any necessary additional change management resources required to improve and grow the team (i.e. additions or changes to head count/contractors, technology and training)

  • Monitor and incorporate feedback from all key stakeholders (e.g. client, BDS, agencies) gathered formally by surveys and business review meetings, and informally for continuous workflow improvement
  • Act as the executive-level liaison between BDS and internal clients, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration

  • Develop standards and mentor client and BDS on communication process, ensuring effective and appropriate use of phone, e-mail, instant messaging and face-to-face interaction
  • Utilize time tracking/project management system in the creative environment to track operational metrics
  • Maintain expertise in latest technologies and techniques for designated deliverable types
  • Maintain proficiency in appropriate design software in order to create core visuals, illustrations, and other communication solutions
  • Work in collaboration with Coordinator to identify and implement effective workflow technology and help identify process-level metrics that need to be captured to forecast resource needs
  • Identify and troubleshoot technological bottlenecks in relationship management systems and provide feedback to Coordinator about changes and enhancements needed for technology
  • Oversee requirements definition, vetting and selection of technology that supports creative and accounting processes
  • Work with corporate IT to implement and enhance technology to support the BDS
  • Perform other responsibilities as required to support the overall success of the department and company
  • Required to attend/complete all mandatory training sessions and meetings

Loews raises $500M through 4.940% senior notes due 2036

Loews Corporation has completed a $500 million public offering of 4.940% senior notes due 2036. The notes were issued on 18 February 2026 under the company's existing shelf registration, sold through an underwriting syndicate led by major banks. The notes pay semi-annual interest starting 1 October 2026 and include standard redemption terms. They may be redeemed at a make-whole price before 1 January 2036, and at par plus accrued interest thereafter, providing flexibility to manage interest costs. Loews Corporation posts $402M Q4 net income, buys back 8.9M shares for $782M in 2025

Loews Corporation reported net income of $402 million, or $1.94 per share, for the fourth quarter of 2025, compared to $187 million, or $0.86 per share, in the prior year period. Full-year net income reached $1,667 million, or $7.97 per share, versus $1,414 million, or $6.41 per share, in 2024. Book value per share increased to $90.71 at year-end 2025 from $79.49 a year earlier. The parent company held $3.9 billion in cash and investments against $1.8 billion of debt as of 31 December 2025. Loews repurchased 8.9 million common shares during 2025 for $782 million. Fourth-quarter results included contributions from CNA Financial, Boardwalk Pipelines, Loews Hotels and the corporate segment, with improved investment income partially offset by one-time charges.
