- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- A valid driver's license and must be approved to drive by the company's insurance carrier.
- Must be willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on-call schedule.
- Pre-employment drug screens and background checks will be required.
- Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field to ensure safety for coworkers, self, and property.
- Must be team oriented.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers.
- Must be able to use a computer tablet, smartphone and read a map or follow GPS.
- Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc. in an efficient and productive manner
- Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses as needed including presenting options and collecting for jobs completed
- Communicate with Dispatch, Supervisors, and Customers throughout projects about time frames, change orders, etc.
- Must provide a safe and clean work environment to protect property of others and fellow coworkers
- Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
- Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
- Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times
- Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
- Perform other duties as assigned
