Requirements
  • * J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed in Idaho or eligible for in-house counsel registration.
  • * 3–7 years of litigation experience, including insurance defense, preferably in healthcare and/or employment law.
  • * Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • * Experience with arbitration, mediation, and managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.
  • * Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • * Represent the company in pre-litigation and litigation matters, including managing outside counsel.
  • * Provide strategic legal advice on disputes, regulatory inquiries, and risk exposure.
  • * Support community leadership teams with legal guidance and resources.
  • * Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
  • * Respond to medical records requests, subpoenas, and government inquiries.
  • * Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • * Assist with contract disputes, employment matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • * Stay current on relevant federal and state laws.
