  • Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification required: NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA, NESTA, NCCPT, NCSF.
  • Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid Certification required: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • One to two (1-2) years of customer service experience.
  • Two (2)+ years in personal training.
Responsibilities
  • Creates and implements workout programs that match the needs and goals of clients.
  • Provides clients with exercise and nutritional recommendations to meet their desired fitness goals.
  • Keeps an accurate record of all client sessions.
  • Communicates client progress or difficulties with the Fitness Coordinator.
  • Appropriately files away client forms per Fitness & Wellness program’s standards.
  • Serves as a role model to staff and patrons as it relates to personal fitness, etiquette and safety.
  • Provides a friendly, inclusive, service-oriented environment for staff and patrons.
  • Provides positive relations and policy education to patrons.
  • Maintains familiarity of Greeley Recreation functions including risk management procedures, membership information, basic operational practices, and understanding of programs and services.
  • Responds to all injuries and assist in immediate emergency procedures.
  • Keeps personal training areas clean and organized.
  • Maintains NCCA Personal Training and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications per industry standards.
  • Personal commitment to pursuing continuing education and advanced understanding of fitness, nutrition, and wellness industry standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field preferred.
