- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or related discipline
- Ten years experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in accounting functions, utility finance, or other related field
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to apply broad business perspective to daily operations

- Computer literacy with ability to effectively utilize associated systems and software
- May require specialized programming knowledge for applications associated with analyses, forecasts, projections, and other studies

- Represent the Company in the local and business community which may require membership in external organizations.
- Lead, manage, and develop the Payroll and AP teams, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily processing of payroll and AP transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and review reconciliations, journal entries, and reports related to payroll and AP.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with IT/technology teams to support system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations affecting payroll and AP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Supply Chain, Treasury, and Finance to support accurate financial reporting and business needs.
- Track team efficiency through statistics and metrics to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare and present metrics, analyses, and recommendations to senior management.
