- 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE RAN and VoLTE testing
- Solid working knowledge of 4G Radio Access Network technology including parameterisation and optimisation management
- Extensive recent experience in LTE system integration, testing and troubleshooting (system logs, OS logs, UE logs, network logs, etc.)
- RAN Integration knowledge and experience and proven track history
- Strong end-to-end RAN knowledge with focus on 4G
- RAN Technologies (vRAN, Small Cells, MIMO, Timing and Sync with GPS, PTP)
- Understanding of Networking Protocols like IP, TCP, SCTP, IPSEC
- Understanding of 3GPP standards, including procedures, call flows, KPI, statistics
- End-to-end testing, in all areas - IMS calls (eNodeB, MME, SGW, PCR, SBG, CSCF, MTAS)
- Good understanding of Layer 2 & 3 messages, RRC/RLC Layers.
- Analysing and diagnosing main RF Issues like Dropped calls, Blocked calls, Poor coverage, Handover Failures, Interference, RACH failures etc
- Good experience in analysing the Core Network elements issues like SGSN, GGSN, MSC, Media Gateway, MME, SGW, PGW
- Working Knowledge or Testing Nokia and Ericsson RAN
Should have:
- Analysing and diagnosing MC QCI Issues
- Extensive knowledge is testing Mission Critical Service
- Experience with working with Loadgenerators (IXIA and Viavi)
- Experience on RAN KPI testing
