• 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE RAN and VoLTE testing
• Solid working knowledge of 4G Radio Access Network technology including parameterisation and optimisation management
• Extensive recent experience in LTE system integration, testing and troubleshooting (system logs, OS logs, UE logs, network logs, etc.)
• RAN Integration knowledge and experience and proven track history
• Strong end-to-end RAN knowledge with focus on 4G
• RAN Technologies (vRAN, Small Cells, MIMO, Timing and Sync with GPS, PTP)
• Understanding of Networking Protocols like IP, TCP, SCTP, IPSEC
• Understanding of 3GPP standards, including procedures, call flows, KPI, statistics
• End-to-end testing, in all areas - IMS calls (eNodeB, MME, SGW, PCR, SBG, CSCF, MTAS)
• Good understanding of Layer 2 & 3 messages, RRC/RLC Layers.
• Analysing and diagnosing main RF Issues like Dropped calls, Blocked calls, Poor coverage, Handover Failures, Interference, RACH failures etc
• Good experience in analysing the Core Network elements issues like SGSN, GGSN, MSC, Media Gateway, MME, SGW, PGW
• Working Knowledge or Testing Nokia and Ericsson RAN

Should have:

• Analysing and diagnosing MC QCI Issues
• Extensive knowledge is testing Mission Critical Service
• Experience with working with Loadgenerators (IXIA and Viavi)
• Experience on RAN KPI testing
