Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience supporting warehousing activities
  • Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans preferred
  • Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted
  • Must have Interim Secret clearance to start on program and obtain final Secret to remain on program
Responsibilities
  • These duties can include, but are not limited to loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Unpacking freight, placing received material in proper storage locations
  • Move/relocate material using pallet jacks or carts
  • Scrapping/cutting of excess material, maintain the cleanliness of warehouse and production floor
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting warehousing activities
  • Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans
  • Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers)
  • Recent experience at NATSC Newport as a Material Handling Laborer or equivalent
