Job Description
Job Summary:The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a faculty member to serve as the Clinical Director of the Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs (CDAP), an outpatient clinic in the Addiction Sciences Division of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
Reporting to the Addiction Sciences Division Director, the CDAP Clinical Director will be directly engaged in clinical service while also supervising and directing a multidisciplinary team providing individual and group clinical care to individuals with addiction-related and other psychiatric illnesses and their families.
Specific responsibilities include programmatic leadership, fiscal and logistical oversight, supervision of clinicians, and direct engagement in clinical care. Trained in the areas of evidence-based treatments, data-driven program development and evaluation, and modern assessment methods, the individual will mentor and supervise clinicians and trainees, a critical factor in maintaining the integrity and productivity of the clinical program.
Candidate must be a Psychologist with the ability to hold an unrestricted license to practice in South Carolina.
