This position is onsite in Richmond, British Columbia.
- Technical knowledge in hydraulic systems and components
- Ability to repair, convert, and assemble hydraulic components
- Familiarity with Danfoss piston pumps/motors, Parker Gear Motors, and Amca proportional valves
- Ability to troubleshoot mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of company procedures including paperwork and invoicing
- Ability to provide inventory recommendations
- Skills in maintaining and operating shop assets like test benches and cranes
- Willingness to stay current on products and technology in the industry
- Repair, convert, assemble all types of hydraulic components
- Test hydraulic components on test stand
- Assemble and test power units
- Troubleshooting of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
- Follow all prescribed company procedures, including the handling of paperwork and invoicing
- Assist in ensuring we have adequate inventory by providing recommendations of what parts should be stocked
- Assist in properly maintaining and operating the company's shop assets including test bench, cranes, trucks, etc.
- Look for ways to make our service department more efficient
- Assist in year-end inventory as required
- Stay current on our products as well as our competitors’ products and technology
- Double check that coding provided by the sales team is correct
- Assist in utilizing deadstock inventory during conversions or other opportunities
- Constantly keep up with technology and brands in the industry
- Participate in company approved courses to improve industry knowledge and career advancement
