Requirements
- Technical services experience in hydraulic components
- Knowledge of Danfoss piston pumps/motors, Parker Gear Motors, and Amca proportional valves
- Ability to test hydraulic components on test stand
- Troubleshooting skills for mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with company procedures, paperwork, and invoicing
- Inventory management skills
- Ability to maintain and operate shop assets including test bench, cranes, and trucks
- Continuous learning and staying current with industry technology and products
Responsibilities
- Repair, convert, assemble all types of hydraulic components
- Test hydraulic components on test stand
- Assemble and test power units
- Troubleshoot mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
- Follow all prescribed company procedures, including handling paperwork and invoicing
- Assist in ensuring adequate inventory by providing recommendations
- Assist in properly maintaining and operating the company's shop assets
- Look for ways to make the service department more efficient
- Assist in year-end inventory as required
- Stay current on products and competitors’ products and technology
- Double check coding provided by the sales team
- Assist in utilizing deadstock inventory during conversions or other opportunities
- Participate in company-approved courses to improve industry knowledge
