Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an analytical, technical or commercial field preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in a highly numerate major (Math, Stats, Econ, etc.) or relevant experience in data and/or business analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau/data visualization required, experience with Python or R a plus
  • Strong analytical proficiency & Excel-based modeling experience
  • Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to senior leadership stakeholders
  • Track record of transforming data into actionable insights and presentations
  • Ability to take initiative and produce results in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
  • Effective at relationship building and sensitive to stakeholders' needs
  • Experience working in the real-money gaming industry or in an adjacent industry preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of and interest in sports and technology preferred; ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the industry and company will be critical to success
Responsibilities
  • Develop standardized reporting to monitor business performance of New Venture
  • Monitor daily performance of New Venture and identify tactical levers that ensure we deliver against our monthly financial targets
  • Perform analysis to derive insights that support business decisions for the New Venture
  • Influence the creation, execution and aftercare of improvement and optimization projects that will benefit customers, while considering profitably
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to existing processes across various teams, including but not limited to Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, and Customer Operations
  • Be an expert of FanDuel New Venture customer experience end to end (e.g. media, registration funnel, funding, odds, UX, promos, CS) and always look for further improvements
  • Develop a strong understanding of FanDuel’s business, with a focus on emerging markets & trends, and the regulatory environment under which FanDuel and its competitors operate
  • Continuously look for ways to improve FanDuel’s competitive positioning
  • As necessary, support the broader New Ventures team in the identification, assessment, and prioritization of new product & partnership opportunities
