  • A PhD degree in physics/applied physics, optics/applied optics, or electrical engineering is highly desired.
  • Doctorate (Academic) and no work experience, or Master's Degree and 3 years of work experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct rigorous and approximate EM (electromagnetic) simulations based on lithography and reticle inspection optical parameters
  • Derive, develop, and enhance computationally efficient methods to calculate EUV and DUV mask near-field and far-field patterns
  • Explore and recommend optical configurations to optimize defect detection for next-generation photon-based reticle inspection systems
  • Research new mathematical methods to approximate mask 3D effects utilizing state-of-art technologies including machine-learning and deep-learning techniques
  • Must be an effective communicator able to share technical information with functional groups and provide executive level reports to management and customers
