Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Economics preferred
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience within the investment industry
  • Strong analytical background and knowledge of financial accounting principles

Responsibilities
  • Research and respond on daily fair value requests.
  • Serve as a lead in the coordination and presentation of fair value recommendations for our monthly fair valuation process.
  • Coordinate and review the preparation of monthly pricing packets by team members.
  • Serve as a resource to various groups within Acadian as well as external parties for pricing and fair valuation related inquiries and requests.
  • Responsible for participating in various initiatives and projects within Corporate Action & Pricing group.
  • Take a lead role in enhancing the current Fair value processes and reporting to increase efficiency and minimize risk.
  • Assist with creating/maintaining the outsource operating model for the daily and monthly pricing process.
  • Assist with creating/maintaining the outsource operating model for voluntary/mandatory corporate actions.
  • Assist in development of requirements of daily pricing oversight of BNY outsource process.
  • Establish /maintain BNY outsource pricing guidelines for standing instructions.
  • Work with fair value committee review policy periodically.
  • Involvement in the entire corporate action (CA) life cycle for both voluntary and mandatory corporate actions.
  • Serve as a resource to various groups within Acadian as well as external parties for corporate action related inquiries and requests.
  • Cross train team members to provide additional coverage of the fair value pricing process.
  • Maintain oversight of the fair value pricing recommendation process and individual valuation support creation by Ops Specialist.
  • Oversight/support of data team to ensure all securities priced in CRD for trading purposes.
  • Maintain account responsibilities of an Operations Specialist.
  • Ensure accounting data is correct by performing account reviews at month end.
  • Respond to special requests made by the clients, internal groups and/or consultants.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with the various teams within Acadian.
