JOB DESCRIPTION: Junior Organic Social Analyst
*Internally, this role is known as Junior Social Analyst
This position sits in our Marketing & Technology service based in London. We combine data, technology, creative content, and paid media to crack brands’ business problems & drive revenue. Our organic clients include eBay, Twitch, MoneyGram, The Macallan, easyJet, and Trainline.
JOB PURPOSE

Our Media Team is made up of both paid and organic media specialists and we are looking for a new member to join the team!
We need someone to work with the core teams to interrogate data and deliver insightful analysis of social media performance across a portfolio of clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Junior Social Analyst is exciting, varied and constantly evolving. This is an entry level job where you will support the wider Organic Analyst team, delivering reports and insights to a high standard to help inform client & internal content creation. In this role, you will:
- Support the wider Analyst team in developing reports to deliver accurate results in a timely manner; outlining core performance in-line with client objectives.
- Prepare specific social media data reports with key insights & recommendations, as well as monitoring data with key high & low callouts
- Support clients’ internal analytics team to supplement any platform data with other relevant client data.
- Stay on top of platform and content trends, specifically regarding platform best practices.
- Use social listening tools to monitor brand sentiment, trends and surface key talking points and topics of relevance for creative responses.
- Contribute to our creative process by sharing insights uncovered in your analysis process.
- Continue to optimise and develop reporting processes to ensure efficiency.
- Present work to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Potential to support on paid social campaign planning, set-up & monitoring to support organic channels where required.
SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

- Good understanding of social media platforms and key metrics & data points associated with them.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- An inquisitive and numeric mindset.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Good understanding of what social-first creative looks like and what brands are doing a good job on organic social.
- Understanding of how organic social can play a role in helping clients meet their overall business objectives.
- Comfortable working in PowerPoint presentations/Google Slides; visualising data & communicating key learnings & recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively write insights based on a set of data & communicate this with stakeholders.
