Red Cell Partners has appointed Sean O'Keefe as Deputy Chief Technology Officer. O'Keefe will oversee technology strategy implementation, daily engineering operations and manage the firm's engineering teams. O'Keefe previously served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Function Health, where he was the first engineering hire and led development of a secure health data platform and generative AI platform. Earlier in his career, he worked at Google Research as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the TensorFlow Model Remediation Library focused on AI safety and bias mitigation. A former Green Beret in the 10th Special Forces Group, O'Keefe also worked at Bridgewater Associates conducting quantitative research.
