The Role

As a Summer Intern at NuHarbor, your day to day will encompass a variety of cybersecurity engagements, job shadows, special projects, coursework, and professional networking. Summer Interns are provided training, career coaching, and diversified hands-on practical experiences that will help in determining which career path in cybersecurity aligns with your career aspirations. You will be asked to work with both internal and external stakeholders, contribute to group project activities, provide support to your colleagues, and develop sound decision making skills.

What you’ll do

• Work with industry leading experts to develop cybersecurity solutions for clients.
• Grow your professional network and develop communication and technical presentation skills.
• Drive the execution of a group project in collaboration with other interns.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing information security risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that successful project outcomes are met.
• Research and stay up to date on emerging security threats and technologies.
• Assist and support ad-hoc project assignments.
• Maintain a consistent work schedule in line with our company policies and procedures.
• Communicate consistently with your direct supervisor regarding changes in priorities.
• Interpersonal savvy. Adjust communication vehicles, tone, structure, and style based on the audience.

Your foundation.  The requirements for this role:

• Currently enrolled in higher education, certification, or other cybersecurity-related program.
• Ability to articulate how an internship at NuHarbor furthers a career path in Cybersecurity.
• Must be a US citizen.

This role is based in our Colchester, Vermont headquarters.
