Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with system evaluation, integration, and support.
  • Experience with evaluating system solutions (connectivity, power, cooling, equipment etc).
  • Experience supporting system design and/or validation platform design.
  • Strong knowledge of system designs flow including validation platforms, PCB design/manufacturing.
  • Experience dealing with technology sourcing and vendor/partner relationship management.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical evaluation of various solutions to determine the best fit for internal design requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers for system solutions, including connectivity, power systems, cooling systems, and integration services.
  • Work closely with design teams to vet the technology and support the integration of different system solutions.
  • Work with internal team and ecosystem vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to components/modules/cabling/PCB/etc during various stages of the design cycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with system vendors for technical discussions, updates and feature requests.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and service level agreements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market conditions to recommend innovative and cost-effective solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and product management teams to understand system solution requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for improving design flow efficiency when integrating system solutions ensuring high performance, power, and area efficiency.
  • Create internal documentation for evaluation reports, benchmark and proposed solution for optimal performance and TCO.
