Salma Health provides an integrated model for brain health that combines diagnostics, treatments, and ongoing patient support. It addresses conditions like depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, brain injuries, Alzheimer's, and other dementias through in-person clinics and telehealth. The care pathway starts with advanced diagnostics and pairs them with treatments such as SAINT neuromodulation (a form of TMS), SPRAVATO esketamine, Botox for migraines, and infusion therapies, all coordinated by clinicians, researchers, and technologists. Its goal is to set a science-based standard for brain healthcare by delivering personalized, connected care across care teams and settings and by offering administrative and technology services to the practices it supports.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Salma opened San Diego, Orange County, Fremont, and Berkeley sites in 2026.
  • Its 24-48 hour care-start promise can win depressed and suicidal patients.
  • Active neurology and psychiatry studies add referrals, data, and clinician prestige.

What critics are saying

  • California-only footprint concentrates regulatory, reimbursement, and execution risk across four clinics.
  • High-acuity psychiatry plus neuromodulation demands specialized staffing; shortages can halt expansion by 2026.
  • If patient volumes miss targets, the $80M clinic buildout becomes an expensive existential burn.

What makes Salma Health unique

  • Feb. 26, 2026: Salma Health launched an integrated brain health Center of Excellence model.
  • It combines SAINT, TMS, Spravato, diagnostics, IOP, and clinical research.
  • Backed by ARCH Venture Partners and Mubadala Capital, it has $80M Series A.
