Requirements
  • Current Pennsylvania Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification is required.
  • Pennsylvania X-Ray Certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience is required.
  • Restorative dentistry experience is required.
  • Experience with digital workflows is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care are required.
  • Employees must wear personal protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, and gowns, as needed and in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention standards.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Expanded Function Dental Assistant duties in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations.
  • Assist with restorative implant procedures and full-arch (AOX) cases.
  • Place, contour, and finish restorations.
  • Take digital impressions, radiographs, and intraoral scans.
  • Support digital workflows and restorative treatment planning.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization protocols.
  • Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care.
  • Maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and infection control compliance.
  • Stand, walk, and use hands and arms to operate general office equipment.
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing between 10 and 25 pounds.
  • Travel to healthcare practices as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Implant dentistry experience is preferred.
  • iCAM experience is a strong plus.
