Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, or Master of Business Administration degree is required.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in transportation operations, freight audit/pay, or transportation management system support is required.
  • Experience with transportation management system platforms such as Blue Yonder, SAP Transportation Management, Oracle Transportation Management, or MercuryGate is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand rates, contracts, and invoice structures are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis is required.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional regional language requirements may apply based on business needs or location.
  • Experience in shared services or managed business services is required.
  • Knowledge of regional transportation regulations and carrier operations is required.
  • Experience with SAP, S/4HANA, source-to-pay workflows, or integration with enterprise resource planning financial modules is required.
  • Understanding of freight cost allocation and general-ledger structures is required.
Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end freight bill ingestion, validation, and approval within the transportation management system.
  • Perform invoice audits to ensure accuracy in rates, accessorials, fuel, and contract application.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with carriers and Finance.
  • Maintain bill/pay master data, including rate tables, general-ledger and account mapping, cost centers, and bill-to structures.
  • Support weekly and monthly freight accrual processes with validated shipment and cost data.
  • Monitor bill/pay exceptions and ensure timely closure to enable on-time carrier payment.
  • Support daily and weekly shipment planning for the assigned region.
  • Ensure transportation plans meet service, cost, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor shipment status, manage planning exceptions, and coordinate with sites, planners, and carriers.
  • Optimize load consolidation and mode selection to reduce freight cost while maintaining on-time, in-full performance after go-live.
  • Maintain routing guides, carrier assignment rules, and regional constraints within the transportation management system.

He will lead the company's commercial strategy, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion.
