Responsibilities
  • Serve as the link between the franchise and the Global Capability Product Team, ensuring business needs are communicated, technologies are developed effectively, and newly created capabilities are adopted and deliver measurable value.
  • Develop activation plans for effective rollout and enablement.
  • Assess skill gaps and ensure appropriate readiness and training approaches.
  • Continually assess and measure success outcomes and adjust activation plans to meet evolving needs and adoption.
  • Ensure a cohesive delivery and adoption experience across the franchise.
  • Represent the Oncology Franchise to Global Capability Product Teams.
  • Partner with product owners to accelerate discovery, roadmap planning, and solution design.
  • Monitor organizational impact metrics related to Global Capability Products and deliver strategic insights to Franchise Leadership and Customer Experience Operations Leadership.
  • Lead the rollout of new capabilities within oncology field and marketing organizations, including customer relationship management enhancements, dashboards, website chatbots, next-best-action capabilities, and artificial-intelligence-enabled tools.
  • Drive deployment of new customer relationship management and other field capabilities by coordinating with Field Activators and driving change management and training for oncology field teams across Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.
  • Drive adoption and effective utilization of new Global Capability Products by shaping mindset shifts, influencing behavioral change, and ensuring measurable business impact across the Oncology Franchise.
  • Adapt processes, drive training and communications, and evolve ways of working within the Oncology Franchise to embed new business capabilities in daily work.
  • Make solutions intuitive and usable so employees can deliver better customer experiences and stronger business outcomes.
  • Catalyze and support omnichannel orchestration execution, including planning, alignment, and impact measurement, in collaboration with Business Operations and Analytics stakeholders, enabling integration of personal and non-personal customer engagement.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals prices upsized $1.1B exchangeable notes offering with $225M share repurchase

Jazz Pharmaceuticals has priced an upsized $1.1 billion private offering of 1.875% exchangeable senior notes due 2032, up from the previously announced $1.0 billion. The offering, conducted through its wholly-owned subsidiary Jazz Investments I Limited, is expected to close on 31 August 2026. The notes will mature on 15 September 2032 and are exchangeable at an initial rate of 2.8150 ordinary shares per $1,000 principal amount, equivalent to an exchange price of approximately $355.24 per share. This represents a 42.5% premium above the last reported sale price on 26 August 2026. The company will use net proceeds of approximately $1,079 million for general corporate purposes. Concurrently, Jazz Pharmaceuticals agreed to repurchase approximately $225 million of its ordinary shares from note purchasers at $249.29 per share, using existing cash on hand.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals launches Ziihera for HER2-positive cancer with $3B–$5B peak sales outlook

Jazz Pharmaceuticals has launched Ziihera in the US following FDA approval for first-line treatment of HER2-positive, unresectable or metastatic gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. The drug can be used with tislelizumab and chemotherapy, or with chemotherapy alone for certain patients. Jazz Pharmaceuticals to acquire Actio Biosciences for $820M upfront, adding KCNT1+ epilepsy therapy

Jazz Pharmaceuticals has agreed to acquire Actio Biosciences for $820 million upfront and up to $500 million in contingent payments. The deal adds ABS-1230, a clinical-stage precision therapy for KCNT1+ epilepsy, to Jazz's rare epilepsy portfolio. KCNT1+ epilepsy is a rare genetic condition affecting approximately 2,500 patients in the United States. Patients typically experience dozens to hundreds of seizures daily that resist standard medications. Around 80% of cases begin in infancy, with many children unable to reach basic developmental milestones. There are currently no FDA-approved therapies for KCNT1+ epilepsy. ABS-1230 recently showed meaningful seizure reductions in an early clinical trial. The ongoing Phase 1b/2a KYRON trial is designed as the registrational study supporting US new drug application submission.
