Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, including financial analysis in technology
  • 3+ years of experience with financial management in technology, including operating budgets, forecasting, and reporting
  • Experience with process improvement, utilizing industry best practices related to technology procurement, leasing, vendor management, or financial reporting
  • Experience with data analytics and financial modeling in Excel, Smartsheet, and Tableau
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, organizing and scheduling work efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience preparing and tracking technology financials, ROIs, business cases, service costing, and overhead costs
  • Experience utilizing design, development, and testing methodologies
  • Experience with management and negotiation with enterprise level vendors on pricing, SLAs, and contract terms
  • Experience in Six Sigma Lean, Executive Financial Reporting, Project Financial Reporting, or Technology Finance Management
  • Experience with hardware, software licensing, telecom, and other IT products
  • Experience in Deltek Costpoint and leading procurement systems
  • Ability to take initiative and work successfully in an environment with minimal direction
  • Possession of excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
Responsibilities
  • Provide insight and assist in the management of the firm’s technology spend.
  • Participate in the creation of the firm's technology procedures and processes to adhere to best practices.
  • Provide the CIO and senior IT leadership with financial metrics, financial review, and reporting for all technology spend.
  • Serve as a participant or lead in IT budgeting, IT forecasting, Technology Contract Reviews, IT Vendor Relationship support, IT Leasing and Procurement support, Software Licensing Management, and Technology Asset Management.
  • Participate in internal and external technology audits, the firm’s budgeting process, IT Governance process, and preparing ROI cases for technology projects.
  • Handle various assignments from the IT Senior Leadership team.
  • Provide reporting for IT financials, IT Hardware and Software Inventory, Technology Licensing and Contracting, Asset Technology Management, and coordination of other procurement and contracting teams.
  • Participate in Technology Audit and Third Party Assessments, coordinating with IT management to develop and implement IT controls to ensure compliance with IT best practices.
  • Assume responsibility for tracking and reporting IT financial management, including budgets, actuals, forecasting, tracking expenses, chargebacks, project costing and projections, variance reporting, and technology services cost breakdown.
  • Assume responsibility for all technology asset management processes, associated IT hardware and software assets, including reporting, tracking, and oversight of the full asset life cycle.
  • Conduct oversight and analysis of all leases, technology purchases, and maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate vendor management, including negotiating or validating discount levels, pricing, and terms and conditions.
  • Develop SLAs and periodically review with all IT vendors for performance, review roadmaps for product or model migrations, and coordinate efforts for problem resolution.
  • Manage inventory ordering and levels for firm standard equipment, and direct or participate in RFP processes.
