Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Commodity Management
  • Background working with ERP & MRP systems
  • Knowledge of the data storage markets or other relevant high-tech industry
  • Must have commodity pricing expertise, be detail-oriented, analytical, process savvy, customer-focused, and adaptable to business needs
Responsibilities
  • Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on their ability to meet the company's requirements.
  • Working with suppliers to improve their processes, capabilities, and performance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Tracking and assessing supplier performance through metrics and KPIs to ensure they meet contractual obligations and company standards.
  • Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Ensuring suppliers comply with industry standards, regulations, and the company’s quality requirements.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
