Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a highly analytical field (i.e. Engineering, Math)
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, investing or FP&A/strategic finance (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Background in Investment Banking highly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (GCP, BigQuery, & SQL experience a plus)
  • Exceedingly strong analytical acumen and financial modeling capabilities
  • Detail-oriented and systematic approach resulting in high levels of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, motivation and attention to detail
  • Ability to succeed with substantial autonomy, pro-activity and self-starter mentality
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executives
  • Strong organization skills, including ability to manage multiple projects / competing priorities under tight deadlines in parallel
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain top and bottom-line financial forecasts, reporting of key metrics and ad hoc financial models
  • Create deeply thoughtful analyses and presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Distill huge amounts of data into actionable insights and trends, updating management regularly on the health of the business
  • Design, implement and track important financial and operating metrics, benchmarking performance against strategic goals
  • Prepare materials for key stakeholders, including Five9’s executive team, Board of Directors and investors
  • Partner cross-functionally with every line-of-business, including cloud ops, product, sales, marketing, professional services and customer support
  • Execute on capital raising transactions from inception to close
  • Drive finance-wide initiatives, including process improvement and automation
