Technical Operations Manager
The Opportunity:
As a Technical Operations Manager, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a Technical Operations Manager like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, Agile environment.
As a Technical Support Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll utilize monitoring tools, such as LightsOn, Tachyon, or Splunk to identify end user device, networking, and system issues for resolution. Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll guide the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues across multiple departments. You’ll be responsible for technical analysis and oversight across all systems engineering aspects of the system to a Commercial of the Shelf (COTs) product line, including technical requirements development, network and system environment set-up, test, change management, release and deployment, support, and sustainment. You’ll support day-to-day remote technical aspects of product operational data to identify diagnostic issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware or software related. You Have:
5+ years of experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications using Agile methods
Experience with leading a team of engineers
Experience with monitoring, identifying and addressing technical risks, gaps and opportunities affecting the solution architecture to satisfy requirements throughout the lifecycle
Experience with creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
Experience with designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software in a healthcare and clinical environment
Ability to perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting a Federal client
Experience with implementing electronic health records
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
