Exiger is looking for an enthusiastic senior front-end developer to join our UI team to build amazing user experiences with Angular. The developer will apply their extensive experience with modern technologies and practices to help end-users make effective use of large data sets.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners to define user stories
Participate in constructive design discussions to deliver maintainable and practical solutions
Make recommendations on how to evolve the code base
Accurately estimate development effort
Develop and test new features
Squash bugs
Participate in peer code reviews
Mentor junior developers

Knowledge & Skills

Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
JavaScript transpilers
Typescript
Angular
NodeJS
Express.js
Responsive mobile web development experience
Module bundling/loading technologies like Webpack
Experience with Nx tooling and monorepos
Experience with the Sass CSS pre-processor or similar

Professional Experience Required

8 years of software development experience
5 years of experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML
4 years of experience using Angular
2 years of experience using agile methodologies

This is a Hybrid position. Candidates must be located within 2-hour of McLean, VA (or Richmond, VA or NYC) as you will be expected onsite 1-2 days per week.
