The Transformation Program Metrics VP is accountable for the execution and supported guidance of complex and critical metrics and analytics that underpin reporting to executive and board-level oversight teams, as well as external regulators. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Transformation initiative, phased planning and goals, and how progress is to be/can be measured. Strong attention to detail, data quality, and time management are a necessity. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate and problem-solve internally, often at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence with established policies and milestone timelines for data gathering, data quality (DQ) checks, metrics development, assembly of reporting dashboards, and QA to ultimately produce TPO deliverables within responsibility on-time
Coordinate data availability from applicable suppliers in various areas of the organization, escalating where needed
Oversee/perform metrics calculation in accordance with defined data sources, data fields, and methodology for application
Review/analyze deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and positioning of important information
Distribute respective deliverables to stakeholders, and field inquiry from stakeholders/metrics consumers, providing timely response regarding underlying data and methodology
Consider how stakeholders and key organizations are impacted by current metrics, and how that may drive change in the future
Devise creative solutions when faced with roadblocks, issues, or other constraints
Consider and identify best-practices that seek efficiency in reporting execution
Participate in ad hoc User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new/revised methodology of metrics development and reporting
Participate in strategic planning meetings covering areas of possible evolution and/or expansion of metrics involvement, inclusive of tech/automation
Qualifications:
6+ years relevant experience
Expertise in data query, data analytics, and data visualization
Advanced experience using MS Excel and its data integration tools
Experience using various Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, and MicroStrategy)
Ability to independently and effectively work across all levels of management and across functions to accomplish goals
Extremely detail-oriented
Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate several activities at once
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred
