Requirements

Undergraduate degree in accounting with 3-5 years progressive experience (ideally a mix of public and private accounting)
Advanced Excel and data management skills (e.g., pivot tables, V-lookups, Index/Match functions)
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation and analysis
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; must have ability to complete projects on time while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational abilities, customer service orientation, attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills
Willingness to extend yourself and assist other team members

Responsibilities

Full range of month-end and year-end accounting close procedures including preparing accruals calculations, various reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
Assist in monthly reconciliations of inventory and credit cards
Maintain fixed assets and other miscellaneous schedules
Assist in financial audit with timely and accurate requests and supporting schedules
Perform financial statement analysis and communicate findings to management
Support monthly review through work with cross-functional teams to analyze and document balance sheet and P&L fluctuations
Develop processes and workflows to improve existing process and support growth
Support various ad hoc projects

Desired Qualifications

CPA licensed or actively studying for the exam

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our rapidly growing finance team. We are looking for someone who can have autonomy in their work but also contribute to team efforts. This position will be exposed to day to day accounting operations, but will also collaborate cross-functionally and with external partners on larger ad hoc projects. This role is designed for an individual who is interested in being involved in all aspects of finance and accounting and wants to feel part of the business.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

The target base salary for this position ranges from $80,300 to $100,000 in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.

Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
