- Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting safely.
- Manage large-scale field service and emergency response projects when directed.
- Handle business development, maintain customer relationships, and scope and quote projects and jobs; document competition issues and convey findings.
- Validate project progression status and ensure change orders are completed and executed before additional work is performed; ensure customers acknowledge change orders.
- Communicate the manpower, equipment, and resources required for scheduled and emergency response projects by coordinating with the Field Service Coordinator or Branch Manager.
- Ensure health and safety adherence for assigned projects and communicate project-specific on-site actions effectively with the health and safety organization.
- Train and mentor Field Service Foremen and assist the Field Service General Manager with performance reviews for individuals under indirect supervision.
- Manage proper costing and utilization of labor and equipment for assigned work.
- Direct personnel in the operational procedures and requirements for planned field service projects and emergency responses.
- Communicate with the foreman or supervisor to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Respond immediately when on call or secure appropriate coverage and communicate the replacement's name to the supervisor or manager.
- Follow all local, state or provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with United States Department of Transportation, local, state or provincial, and federal requirements.
- Follow corporate operating guidelines and procedures safely.
- Follow company environmental, health, and safety operating guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Supervisory responsibility.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
