  • Ten (10) years’ experience as an SA on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications: Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), CompTIA Linux+, Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification, or equivalent approved by customer.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Monitor and notify according to procedures. Monitor screens and site data for issues.
