Requirements
  • Motivated undergraduate that is eager to learn about biologics discovery and antibody engineering.
  • Candidate must be in enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related discipline.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of study towards a bachelor’s degree by June 2025.
  • Candidate should have basic laboratory skills (via lab course, academic lab, or industry lab).
  • Candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop general understanding of design parameters in antibody discovery.
  • Work with scientists in designing and executing experiments.
  • Practice sterile cell culture technique and perform basic antibody expression, purification, and characterization of newly discovered antibodies.
  • Literature evaluation and review of relevant antibody engineering and biology.
  • Record experiments and data in electronic laboratory notebooks in sufficient detail and in a timely fashion.
  • Participate and contribute during scientific discussions.
  • Analyze data and present project findings at the conclusion of the program.
