Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail are required.
  • The candidate must be comfortable communicating by telephone, email, and in person with students or professionals.
  • The candidate must be able to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Engineering Career Services with student career development.
  • Collect internship and job-upon-graduation outcomes data and coordinate a new job board platform exclusive to the College of Engineering.
  • Help maintain the Engineering Career Services employer database and coordinate logistics for the biannual Engineering Career Fair.
  • Market various career services opportunities and events to students and employers.
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Work occasional morning and evening hours outside regular business hours around career services events.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to use Microsoft Access.
  • Experience with Constant Contact, Doodle, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and/or Illustrator.
