The Job
The Business Intelligence Analyst will lead and implement key areas of Omnidian’s business intelligence strategy. This is a unique opportunity to engage with Omnidian’s leadership and executive teams to provide cross-functional insights and reporting.
What You’ll Do

Design & Stakeholder Management (30%)
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, operational, and engineering teams
- Understand needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
- Prioritize work according to impact and effort
- Communicate and deliver on prioritization with the team
Dashboard Design and Implementation (50%)
- Design and implement datasets, metrics, and dashboards to support stakeholder needs
- Maintain and upgrade existing dashboards and data visualizations
- Collaborate with Data Management team to create and maintain data quality and governance
- Work with data engineering team to prioritize and contribute to ELT pipelines
Strategy & Research (20%)
- Distill Insights from cross functional business exposure into research that informs strategy
- Create data driven stories and presentations
- Communicate & present insights to key stakeholders to support business goals
Who You Are
- Excellent at communication and stakeholder management, with a strong ability to tell stories using data-driven insights.
- Proficient in written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
- Skilled in cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Organized and capable of quickly reprioritizing and renegotiating commitments as priorities shift.
- A self-starter who can drive projects forward with input from various parties.
Experience You’ll Need
- 3+ years of strong experience with Sigma or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- 3+ years of strong SQL skills for writing, updating, and optimizing queries.
- 2+ years of proficiency in Python, particularly with analytical packages (pyspark, pandas, numpy, matplotlib).
- 2+ years of experience with Databricks or similar Data Lake/Warehouse tools (e.g., Snowflake, Bigquery, Redshift).
- Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets.
- Experience in collaborating with data management and data governance teams to implement standards in BI tools.
Experience That’s a Plus
- 1+ year of experience with Spark
- Experience in the energy industry, particularly solar, is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and its data model.
