Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Experience in Wine & Spirits is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for distributors and a third-party logistics warehouse.
  • Maintain regular sales communication and support with buyers and distributors to ensure a steady and timely flow of products to stores.
  • Serve as the liaison and communicator between customers and distributors regarding new commitments, daily shipments, and product launches.
  • Work with Accounting and Finance to ensure billing is correct, approve invoices, and issue credits.
  • Assist Procurement in determining the accuracy and quantity of incoming items.
  • Resolve issues quickly, including out-of-stock items, delays, and mis-shipments.
  • Coordinate sample deliveries.
  • Monitor international shipments.
  • Consolidate stateside shipments.
  • Work with buyers to secure new programs and expand the company portfolio.
  • Manage distributor maintenance, including item setup, pricing, purchase order coordination, compliance, and delivery to the destination.
  • Coordinate booking and shipping.
  • Record and communicate inventory data.
  • Strategize with logistics to reorganize and reroute shipments to meet program deadlines.
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure all distributor bills are properly reconciled.
  • Strategize with distributors to reduce margins where possible and ensure the best prices.
  • Encourage sales on wine opportunities.
