Requirements
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++
  • Clear track record of effective collaboration with customers and continuous delivery of quality results in a remote workplace. Comfortable collaborating with data scientists, product managers, machine learning engineers, and systems engineers
  • Passion for safe, fully-electric, self-driving technology and its impact on the world
Responsibilities
  • Deliver scalable simulation testing solutions to customers evaluating the performance of the autonomous vehicle software stack
  • Lead the design and implementation of application layers built using SDKs provided by the simulation framework and tooling teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and partner simulation teams on complex simulation testing problem
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with building or extending robotic simulation frameworks
  • Familiarity using at least one column oriented database/data warehouse (i.e. BigQuery, RedShift)
  • Experience with SQL programming
  • Familiarity with dashboarding systems for displaying and exploring metrics over time (i.e. Looker, Tableau, Kibana)
  • Experience with verification and validation of complex and/or safety critical systems
