A current New York State license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
At least two years of RN experience in home healthcare or a Medical/Surgical program, such as critical care, the emergency room, or wound care.
Ability to assess and respond to the needs of patients and families in a home setting.
Professional liability insurance in the amount specified by VNSW.
Ability to use industry technology, such as a tablet, while in the field with patients.
Ability to drive and have an automobile in good working condition available for field use.

Our VNSW@Home nurses ensure the quality and safe delivery of home health services. They assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate all care in the home. The nurse carries out this process in a collaborative relationship with the patient and through the supervision and training of Home Health Aides.
