Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Define what unique and memorable experiences look like for the Guest Experience department, articulate the vision, and lead teams to deliver it.
  • Create and deliver SMART rolling action plans to achieve department goals.
  • Lead advancements in guest experience while contributing to the broader guest experience.
  • Take ownership of cleanliness, ticketing, and guest experience.
  • Seek solutions, plan ahead, and stay organized to deliver results.
  • Advance guest service by anticipating guest needs and ensuring the team delivers a world-class experience.
  • Seek and deliver opportunities to surprise and delight guests.
  • Hire and train supervisors and the broader team.
  • Ensure that Pursuit policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with tour companies, suppliers, and other departments.
  • Monitor supplies and printing inventory and maintain proper par stock levels.
  • Lead inventory management for groups, FIT, and packages.
  • Create processes for balancing and reporting financials accurately.
  • Ensure cash security by creating and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Create monthly budgets and forecasts to achieve goals.
  • Implement emergency and safety protocols as the department’s health and safety champion.
  • Lead communications and follow-up arising from guest challenges and suggestions.
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and maintain and update manuals and annual job descriptions.
  • Ensure required statistical information is gathered, entered, and reported accurately and on time.
  • Manage time, payroll reports, and daily key performance indicators.
  • Monitor Medallia and monthly guest-experience reporting, responding and following up in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Accounting experience.
  • Experience with Ventrata or RTP.
  • A second spoken language.
  • An undergraduate degree.
