The Role
As the Founding GTM Lead, you will play a key role in constantly communicating and building the value proportion of Essential AI’s solutions to the world. We are building full-stack AI products that are trained to unlock collaborative capabilities that far exceed what could be achieved today; you will play a strategic role in deeply understanding enterprise workflows and leading external engagements with category-defining customers.
As an early member of this function, you will be performing in-depth customer and use-case discovery and providing education on our solutions through targeted enterprise customer meetings and demos that resonate with the customers’ day-to-day workflows. If you enjoy solving complex, ambiguous problems, iterating on solutions, and excelling in creative story-telling while building strong relationships between external customers and internal product teams, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll be working on
Build and maintain deep relationships with key enterprise customers, gathering actionable insights and ensuring needs are captured and met.
Collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and research teams, providing customer feedback and market insights to shape our roadmap.
Conduct product demos, sales & customer onboarding conversations, competitive analyses & end-user research; analyze these interactions to gather critical information about customer needs and pain points.
Develop our playbook to identify, engage, and convert customers.
Strategically identify ways to make customer success repeatable and measurable; identify, create, and track joint KPIs, metrics, and reports. Investigate and analyze user needs, preferences, and pain points.
What we are looking for
Experience going 0->1 building GTM strategies with enterprise partners and bridging it with Product Management Vertical.
Strong Analytical Skills: Highly analytical approach in defining and optimizing all aspects of the research efforts, engineering progress, and customer engagement. Strong Technical Product Management mindset.
Strategic Communication Skills: Strong ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to both translate product features into business value for customers and connect potential use cases to our research and engineering roadmap. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Familiarity with product development processes and the ability to provide actionable measurable feedback to product teams.
Demonstrated interest/experience in AI/LLMs and their business applications.
(Bonus) A strong network of potential leads in investments, banking, and/or corporate finance teams.

We are based in-person in SF and work fully onsite 5 days a week. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.
The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is up to $225,000 in San Francisco, CA. Final offer amounts depend on various job-related factors, including where you place on our internal performance ladders, which is based on factors including past work experience, relevant education, and performance on our interviews and our benchmarks against market compensation data. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits like daily onsite lunches and snacks; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
