Financial Institutions Claims Advocate (Hybrid or Fully Remote)
Marsh UK is seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Institutions Claims team. You will be part of the FI Claims Advocacy Team which forms part of the wider FINPRO Claims Advocacy Team. The FI team at Marsh services have a significant number of large global FI businesses across industries including banking, asset and fund management, insurance and fintech.
Reporting to our Head of FI Claims, the role will involve responsibility for delivering a comprehensive claims service to Marsh’s FI clients with a focus on technical coverage expertise across FI professional indemnity and D&O claims and crime losses.
We will count on you to:
Work closely with FI clients, overseas Marsh offices and other colleagues in providing strategic, technical, and tactical claims coverage advice
Part of the wider team and a valuable contributor to winning and retaining clients through service delivery and results
Demonstrate technical ability, market knowledge and the personality to build relationships with new and existing clients
Guide clients through complex insurance claims as an advocate on behalf of Marsh clients with insurers
Contribute to thought leadership on issues affecting FI clients
Provide training for placing and claims colleagues
Provide support to the wider FI team through the feedback of claims intelligence to product development colleagues
Support the business in winning and retaining clients – participate in client RFP processes
Capture actionable, aggregate claims data for use by clients in future pre-incident planning and risk management
What you need to have:
Experience of resolving complex financial and professional lines insurance claims ideally involving FI insureds
Claims management experience
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
