Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two to five years of experience in commercial, residential, or industrial maintenance is required.
- Experience with HVAC, fire alarm, electrical, electronic, or plumbing work is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate work activities related to repair, maintenance, inspection, and remodeling for Plant Engineering.
- Apply knowledge of plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, fire protection, electrical systems, carpentry, and electronics.
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures and guidelines are followed, while holding oneself and others accountable for safety.
- Use appropriate judgment and thinking skills when handling situations.
- Apply technical knowledge effectively to projects and problems.
- Establish procedures to ensure quality work, verify quality, and check accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- An associate degree or higher, or 3–5 years of experience in the trade, is preferred.
- Responsiveness to coaching and ability to apply learning to subsequent situations.
- Forward-thinking planning for future projects.
