  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the greenfield mining project from inception through construction and initial operations.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, budget, and risk management plan.
  • Oversee cross-functional teams, including engineers and contractors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the permitting process to ensure operational needs are met during the preparation and submission of all required environmental and operational permits.
  • Support stakeholder communication efforts by providing operational information to the stakeholder engagement team and participating in stakeholder communication activities, ensuring transparency and clarity about project operations.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to develop detailed designs for mining operations, infrastructure, and facilities.
  • Oversee contractor selection, procurement, and contract management processes.
  • Manage construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address technical, financial, and regulatory challenges.
  • Proactively resolve project bottlenecks, ensuring smooth coordination between teams and stakeholders.
