Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred. HS Diploma required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems (preferably Acumatica and Arena).
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB).
  • Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with aerospace and electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience with IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of quality control inspectors across receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
  • Determine and distribute assignments, responsibilities, and priorities for quality control personnel.
  • Perform assessment of employee performance and execution of tasks, including adherence to applicable industry standards and engineering documentation.
  • Generate and train on inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality documentation for overall product quality.
  • Support material review board (MRB) and serve as escalation path for nonconformance dispositioning.
  • Monitor and analyze nonconformance data and drive achievement of metric goals.
  • Drive root cause and corrective action for systemic issues and other quality investigations.
  • Train and mentor employees on company processes and procedures including use of supporting systems.
  • Communicate across disciplines (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to enable daily operations.
  • Perform regular audits of departments and production areas for applicable procedures and requirements including FOD and ESD control.
  • Identify and implement areas for process improvement.
