  • Bachelor’s degree or field related certification in Fire Protection.
  • Proven experience in fire suppression systems, particularly in residential applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and standards related to fire safety, specifically NFPA 13, 13D, 750, 72, and IBC.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience speaking to large groups.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Good understanding of how to work product specifications.
  • NICET in Fire Protection or related field.
  • 5 years experience in a sales support role within the fire safety industry.
  • Familiarity with software tools for fire protection system design.
  • Experience with water mist applications regarding fire suppression.
Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of fire suppression systems, specifically for residential applications and water mist applications.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and standards in all projects and presentations.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations on fire safety and suppression technologies to fire officials, industry partners, and large audiences.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate clients and partners on fire suppression standard processes.
  • Travel with sales team members to meet potential clients, assess their needs, and find opportunities for quoting fire suppression water mist systems.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals and solutions for clients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to fire suppression.
  • Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote Ferguson Fire & Fab and establish relationships with key collaborators.
  • Assist in the design and engineering of fire suppression systems for residential applications as well as potential commercial application opportunities.
  • Work closely with project management to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
