This role receives expert training to handle the initial set up and funding of all New Accounts. We are a fast growing organization and therefore our case managers most often have the opportunity to quickly move up into our specialized teams to work with our most important advisors and clients. All these opportunities begin by learning the platform and delivering excellent service to our advisors as they open new accounts on our platform.
The Job/What You’ll Do:
Successful Case Managers are motivated, self-starters, who are excited to work in a fast learning environment. This role at AssetMark provides support to Financial Advisors on new account set-up, asset transfers, and wide variety of additional requests at account opening. Case Managers commonly work directly with advisors and their assistants to work through paperwork challenges and provide the best service possible.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities:
- Take individual ownership of opening new applications, transfer requests, and additional investment account features by conducting initial work reviews, determining if all paperwork is in good order, and confidently communicate with Financial Advisor offices when corrections/additions need to be made
- Engage in a fast-paced training program teaching complex work processes that still require independent judgement and initiative
- Must demonstrate proficiency quickly in all aspects of new business processing, new business requirements, and responsive advisor communications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex materials in a simple, professional, and effective manner
- Develop the knowledge and skills needed to deliver world-class client care, focusing on quality control, accuracy and first-contact resolution
- Critically think through work assignments, consider potential issues, and proactively prevent miscommunication/errors
- Conduct direct communication with Financial Advisor offices, offering status updates, requesting additional information/forms, and resolve conflicts
- Meet and exceed performance metrics of applications per day and accuracy while adapting to different personalities and making timely and independent decisions
- Follow Standing Operating Procedures while being able to read between the lines and come to conclusions leading to the best outcome possible
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
- Work well under pressure while using more than five different software applications simultaneously
- Participate in team meetings and serve as a subject matter expert to associates
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting other business areas when needed
- Able to be a team player, help where help is needed, proactively reach out when you are through with your work to see if others need assistance, or if there are any items that you can take on, from start of day to the very end

Education & Experience:
- Experience working in a process-oriented / case management environment
- Minimum of 1-2 years financial services/insurance/investments industry experience, preferred
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $50,000-$65,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
