Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management (entry-level roles are acceptable).
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and its role in corporate infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and standard internal administration tasks.
  • Understanding of virtualization tools and methodologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and configurations, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Extensive experience with virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure services.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Windows Servers, Linux environments, and cloud-based deployments.
  • Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, Splunk).
  • Experience with change control and implementation procedures.
  • CompTIA Certifications: A+, Network+, or similar foundational certifications.
  • Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
  • Virtualization Certifications: VMware Certified Associate (VCA), or other related qualifications.
Responsibilities
  • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of on-prem and cloud based servers, networks, and systems
  • Assist in the deployment and administration of virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Manage cloud services on AWS and Azure, ensuring internal systems remain available and scalable
  • Monitor internal infrastructure performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve incidents
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including patching, updates, and backups, to protect internal data
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance internal infrastructure and streamline processes
  • Document all system changes, configurations, and incidents following internal IT standards
  • Participate in IT incident responses to resolve issues impacting internal operations
  • Stay updated with industry trends through ongoing training and development
  • Ensure system security and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security systems
  • Provide technical support to internal users and other IT teams
