  • MFA employees without an X-ray certification perform MRI examinations exclusively.
  • The role requires compliance with all applicable safety and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
  • Independently perform MRI, computed tomography, and X-ray examinations; MFA employees without an X-ray certification perform MRI examinations exclusively.
  • Perform examinations across the full spectrum of diagnostic radiology, including cardiac, prostate, and breast imaging depending on the location.
  • Prepare examination rooms, select the appropriate MRI coils, and position them correctly, such as head, knee, or spine coils.
  • Instruct scan assistants, train them, and provide professional support.
  • Ensure a smooth, patient-oriented examination process.
  • Actively support trainees during their practical training.
  • Independently optimize MRI sequence parameters.
  • Maintain and update examination protocols in MRI and computed tomography.
  • Optionally serve as a practical training supervisor for MTR trainees.
  • Optionally provide professional guidance and support to MFA trainees.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or qualification as an MTR or MFA with or without an X-ray certification, as applicable to the role.
