Responsibilities
  • Working with the wider finance team to ensure complete statutory compliance under IFRS
  • Assist with the preparation of year end accounts and tax computations for multiple UK and EU based entities, and the audit of these entities
  • Work closely with Group finance with ad hoc queries and reporting of the Group financials
  • Assisting with design and implementation of necessary improvements to systems, accounting procedures and controls and initiate corrective actions, working with internal audit
  • Manage the process for filing VAT and Intrastat returns in the UK and across the EU as business grows, working with advisors to keep on top of the ever-changing requirements
  • Line manage one direct report, which may increase as the business continues to grow
  • Special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
