Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to use a computer for email communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe tools.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including email, general data input and collection, medical software data input, and medical record keeping.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Carolina.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A personal vehicle with valid registration.
  • A personal vehicle with proof of insurance.
  • United States citizenship.
  • Eligibility for Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as Employment Authorization, by the designated U.S. Government security office.
  • Ability to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigation, up to a Top Secret or Department of Energy Q clearance.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, events, site visits, or training.
  • Work must be conducted at or in proximity to the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
  • Provide overall medical case-management services for the Savannah River Remediation construction craft workforce.
  • Coordinate and administer construction craft employee medical-surveillance programs.
  • Administer department injury, illness prevention, and treatment programs.
  • Coordinate non-occupational disability programs with payroll benefits and labor relations.
  • Coordinate and schedule workers' compensation referrals and appointments with off-site medical providers.
  • Coordinate and provide support services to the SRS Site Medical Director as needed.
  • Perform duties in a competent and professional manner that meets established milestones and delivery schedules.
