As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Jr. Recruiting Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in Human Resources and Recruiting while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. As a Jr. Recruiting Specialist, you’ll support the recruitment process end-to-end, from intake and requisition setup to sourcing and candidate communication. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and HR to ensure a smooth hiring process and a great candidate experience.

What you’ll be doing as a Jr Recruiting Specialist:

• Partner with hiring managers to gather role details and candidate requirements
• Complete and process requisition forms in our ATS (Greenhouse)
• Coordinate approvals with HR, Finance, and leadership
• Post jobs across career sites, job boards, and social channels
• Track requisition progress and provide timely updates
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep hiring timelines on track
• Search ATS, resume databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards to find candidates
• Draft and send outreach messages and follow-ups
• Research companies, industries, and talent pools to build pipelines
• Identify relevant job fairs, networking events, and online communities
• Share interview outcomes and deliver rejections with professionalism
• Provide resources or encourage strong candidates to reapply
• Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
• Prepare offer letters and initiate background checks
• Coordinate compensation details and start dates under recruiter guidance
• Support other ad hoc recruitment and talent initiatives as needed

You're a great fit for the Jr Recruiting Specialist if you have:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of recruiting coordination and/or sourcing experience; corporate or high-volume environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse + UKG) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office/Google Workspace).
• Comfortable with sourcing platforms, Boolean search, and social/professional networks.
• Basic reporting skills; ability to export ATS data and prepare simple dashboards/metrics.
• Experience in building and maintaining a talent pipeline.
• Strong and proven knowledge of best recruitment strategies and initiatives.
• Working understanding of structured interviewing and job-related selection criteria.
• Awareness of EEO/AA, pay transparency, and basic wage-hour considerations in recruiting workflows.

The Jr. Recruiting Specialist is an on-site position based at our Irvine office, ideal for candidates within a commutable distance. This Full-time, Non-Exemptrole offers a Salary range of $27.00-$31.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this position is not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
