  • 2+ years of experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) program office
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to assist with the development and management of program roadmaps, plans, and schedules to meet the goals and objectives of the Program Office
  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives
  • Ability to coordinate daily among customers and field activities to monitor all aspects of program performance against the Program Management Plan
  • Ability to work independently and pay strict attention to detail

  • HS diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with contracts and acquisitions management for a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)
  • Experience with a NAVSEA Program
  • Experience with Urgent Operational Needs
  • Experience with the statutory and regulatory requirements regarding Milestones B, including engineering and manufacturing development, and Milestone C, including initiating production and deployment
  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOW), Technical Instructions (TIs), Task Descriptions (TDs), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA), or Delivery Orders
  • Experience with Directive 5000.01 and the Defense Acquisition System
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possession of excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, including preparing and delivering briefings and reports to senior government executives
