Requirements

  • Use effective communication techniques with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous professional quality improvement for self, the school, and the school district.
  • Use techniques and strategies that promote and enhance students' critical and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Implement classroom instructional strategies and materials reflecting each student's culture, learning styles, special needs, and socioeconomic background.
  • Establish a classroom management system that maintains appropriate regulation and creates a positive learning environment supporting students' intellectual, personal, and social development.
  • Plan, align, implement, and evaluate instruction and assessment in varied learning environments.
  • Collaborate with peers, parents, the community, and other stakeholders to improve students' classroom educational experiences.
  • Integrate appropriate technology into teaching and learning processes.
  • Ensure adherence to good safety procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
